This is when your show ends in awesome 25 sec !
On Saturday night, San Diego experienced an unexpected firework show that only lasted 25 seconds. The originally planned 18-minute show was cut short due to a computer glitch, causing some confusion among the thousands of onlookers who had gathered on the waterfront to witness the event.
The Fireworks show was supposed to begin at 8pm and continue until 8.18 pm. However, at 7.59pm, most of the show was activated simultaneously, lighting up the night sky with a stunning display of color and sound that lasted 25 seconds before it quickly concluded.
The show was the work of Zambelli Fireworks, an American display company known for its firework production. Representatives from the firm have since apologized and stated they are investigating what caused the unexpected activation. They noted that safety protocol was successfully followed and that such a computer mistake had never happened before.
The early finish of the show left attendees shocked, bewildered and disappointed, with many expressing their dissatisfaction online. The San Diego Police Department also released an official statement, thanking those who attended for their patience and understanding.
Though the intended show did not occur on this occasion, San Diego is still expected to host a second, full-length firework show later in the year.
